KIVA Graphics System Interface (KGSI) produces pictures from complexdata. This is accomplished through sound database architecture, dataselection algorithms, analytical processes, and data classificationschemes. The KIVA ARC/INFO System interface gives clear, easy answers tocomplex questions, and lets the user ask graphic and textual questions ofthe data. Through the joint graphic capabilities of KIVA Systems,coupled with the mapping applications, answers can be "seen" as a seriesof colored maps showing historical, current, and projected five-yearservice demands for a specific area. The system can also produce aspecial supporting ad hoc report of the selected area showing actualstatistics and projections by block, neighborhood, and more.The target market for KGSI is commercial managers, government agencies,and city/county councils.
